Olivia Stirling is an established interior designer who works from her base in Dorset. She trained under the late British decorator John Byrom, before opening a soft furnishing business in London, working exclusively for the interior design trade. In 1985 she co-founded The Nursery Window, a childrens’ decorating store on Walton Street, London, and nothing gives greater pleasure than hearing now grown-up ‘children’ remembering their bedroom wall-paper and curtain material designs.Ten years later she returned to decorating and with personal referrals, has worked on a variety of projects from country houses to city dwellings, both in the UK and further afield, occasionally in collaboration with her long-standing associate John McCall. She has huge gratitude for the long-term relationships she has enjoyed with her many loyal clients and their families.
